What a blessed day last Saturday 16th December 2023 was! Not only was it our fortnightly Feeding Hearts event at Martin Place for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are in need, but we were also graced by the presence of our beloved Bishop, His Grace Mar Mari Emmanuel and Father Isaac, of Christ The Good Shepherd Church. Our Feeding Hearts & Food Angel teams of volunteers, from The Good Samaritan Aid Society, joined hands with our dear clergymen to compassionately support those in need.
Bishop Mari Emmanuel said Grace before he, Father Isaac & the volunteers served all with much needed meals. We always extend our gratitude to our Lord and Saviour, King of Kings, Jesus Christ, for the opportunity to serve our neighbours.
As an added bonus and commensurate with the season, we were also humbled to be able to provide all who attended with our annual Christmas hampers.
