The Good Samaritan Aid Society

Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal & Aid Mission 2023

As we witnessed the heart-wrenching footage of the recent earthquake in Syria and Turkey, our hearts ached for the families and individuals affected by this disaster. The destruction left behind was truly devastating, leaving countless people without homes, food, or access to basic necessities.

It has been both humbling and a privilege to have our dedicated Overseas Mission (an initiative by The Good Samaritan Aid Society, and Christ The Good Shepherd Church) volunteers take part in the relief and aid the many thousands who have been affected. We are inspired and blessed to see their tireless efforts as they provide aid and support to those in need. We remain committed to doing everything we can to ongoingly help those affected by this disaster.

We are grateful to everyone who has donated to our disaster relief mission in Syria and Turkey. Your kindness and compassion are truly inspiring, and we are blessed to have you as part of our aid missions. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by this disaster.

At The Good Samaritan Aid Society (GSAS), we believe that every person, regardless of age, colour, race, faith, gender, etc., deserves access to basic necessities like food, shelter, education, and medical care regardless of their circumstances. We are honoured to be able to provide aid and support to those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.

As you watch the video of our aid work overseas, we hope that you will be moved to join us in our mission. Every little bit helps, and together we can show those affected that they are not alone in their time of need.

Let us always remember the words of Jesus Christ, who said in the Gospel of Matthew 25:35, “for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.”
